Stuck in viaduct

Another vehicle struck the CSX viaduct on South Clinton Street Wednesday afternoon sending Defiance police to the scene. According to officers, the truck was northbound on South Clinton Street at 12:55 p.m., when the backhoe it was hauling struck the railroad viaduct. The driver, Jacob Grindstaff, 22, Oakwood, was cited for assured clear distance. The semi was owned by Webb Brothers Trucking and Excavating, Defiance. Here, representatives from the company survey the damage.
