Former city resident processed, interviewed Iraqi prisoners of war

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. A former Defiance resident who played a major role in processing and interviewing Iraqi prisoners of war is glad to be back on U.S. soil.
Patrick Ankney, 35, an Army reservist who was activated in February, returned home June 22. He will resume his civilian job next week as a Winston-Salem police officer, a position he has held for the past seven years.
