While some local and state taxes and fees are increasing, Defiance City Council might consider one for long-term sewer projects. During its meeting Tuesday, At-large Council-man Tim Holtsberry reported that councils sewer committee has discussed an income tax or rate increase to cover an Ohio EPA-mandated, long-term sewer overflow plan.
