The Defiance County farmers market is set to begin its fifth season this Thursday at Pontiac Park, located on River Road. For the first time in its history, the market will be available to residents two times a week. In the past, the farmers market was held on Friday mornings. But this year it will be held on Thursdays from 4-7 p.m. and Saturdays, from 9 a.m.-noon.
