Defiance will honor its rich Native American history with a special gathering Saturday and Sunday on a 40-acre parcel behind the Northtowne Mall. The event will feature dancing, live drum and flute music, and demonstrations of storytelling, pottery, flint knapping and finger weaving. Hours of the event are Saturday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday from noon-6 p.m.
