Mr. and Mrs. Chet Harter of Defiance recently celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary.
Chet Harter and Patricia Lantow were married on Oct. 5, 1957, at St. John Lutheran Church.
The couple has two children: Chet (Cynthia), Grand Rapids, Mich.; and Mrs. Doug (Robin) McDonald, Defiance. They have six grandchildren.
