NAPOLEON -- Zayne Xavier Holifield, 10, of Napoleon, Ohio, died Monday, March 25, 2013, from injuries sustained in a single-car accident in Fulton County, Ohio.
He was born October 9, 2002, in Wauseon, Ohio, to Lucas and Sarah (Fuller) Holifield. Zayne attended the fourth grade at Central Elementary School in Napoleon. He was very active in baseball, football and soccer leagues in the city of Napoleon. Even though he was 10, he loved to cook and aspired to be a chef.
He is survived by his father, Lucas Holifield of Stryker; mother, Sarah Holifield (Chris Yeary) of Napoleon; brothers, Tucker, Bradyn, Corbin, and Hayden Holifield; sister, Tessa Yeary; and an expected sister; paternal grandparents, Claude and Denise Holifield of Stryker; maternal grandfather, Tim Fuller of Malinta; maternal grandmother, Sheila Fuller of Napoleon; aunts, Jennifer Holifield and Jodie (Tyler) VonDeylen; and uncle, Chris (Angie) Fuller.
Funeral services will he held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, Napoleon. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon.
