OAKWOOD -- Sharon M. (Jewell) Doster, 66, of Oakwood, died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013, at her residence. She was born November 1, 1946, in Haviland to the late Cecil and Ruth (Goelzenleuchter) Jewell. On April 30, 1966, she married Charles Doster, who survives in Oakwood.
She is also survived by her son, Rodney (Phyllis) Doster of New Haven, Ind.; two daughters, Kimberly (Dan) Schlegel and Amy (Doster) Denson, both of Oakwood; a granddaughter, Ali Wayne; two great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 13 great-stepgrandchildren; four great-great-stepgrandchildren; three brothers, Rick (Cathy) Jewell of Haviland, Dennis "Bubba" Jewell of Toledo, and Larry (Pam) Jewell of Van Wert; and a sister, Marilyn Sue (Steve) Beavers; three sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Bruce) Snavley of Ottawa, Kathy (Gary) Golliver of Grover Hill, Margaret (Jim) Keeterle of Paulding; a brother-in-law, Gale (Glenna) Doster of Scott; and many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by a sister; a brother; a grandchild; and three brothers-in-law.
Sharon was retired from ServiceMaster, Defiance, where she cleaned for LaFarge in Paulding, and Defiance Clinic in Defiance. She was also a member of Little River 4-Wheelers and a former member of Black Swamp CB Club.
The funeral service for Sharon will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Oakwood, with Rev. Terry Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Sherman Cemetery, Oakwood. Visitation will be today from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
