WAUSEON -- Robert Glen Miller, 73, Wauseon, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at his home.

He was born on June 20, 1939, in Milford Township, Ohio, the son of Carl and Helen (Harter) Miller. He was a graduate of Rossford High School. Robert served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked at Chrysler Corporation in Perrysburg, Ohio, Maumee Haulers and Sandman trucking companies, Buck & Knobby Equipment in Ottawa Lake, Michigan, from which he retired, and The Thrift Store. Robert was a member of the Eagles Aerie 2556 and the American Legion Post 223, both of Hicksville.

Robert is survived by two sons, Jeff ( Melissa) Miller and Brian (Rhoda) Miller; four grandchildren, Brent (Kara) Miller, Richard Miller, Travis Miller and Grace Miller; great-grandson Bryton Miller; great-granddaughter Miranda Miller; four great-stepgrandchildren; five brothers, Joseph, Francis "Bounce," James "Jim," Paul and Donald; a sister, Madonna Schliesser; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Richard "Dick"; brother, John "Johnny"; sister, Mary Hubert; sisters-in-law, Kay Miller and Sylvia Miller; uncle, Warren Miller; and aunt, Jerene Cunningham Miller.

Visitation for Robert will be at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, Saturday from 2-7 p.m. with the funeral service following at 7 p.m.
