DeNelda Marie (Germann) Ehlers passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 20, 2013, at the Lutheran Home in Napoleon, Ohio.

She was the wife of the late Eldor "Dewey" Ehlers; loving mother of Brent (Debra), Ricky (Kathy), David (Grace) and Jon (Maggie) Ehlers; and grandmother of Anna, Kyle, Tiffany and Jacob.

DeNelda is survived by sisters, Delores Behnfeldt and Darlene (George) Haase; brother, Larry (Nancy) Germann; sister, Linda (Edward) Fulde; and sister-in-law, Beverly Germann.

DeNelda worked at Franz Fruit Market as a seasonal worker and for 23 years at the Henry County Clerk of Courts as a deputy clerk. She enjoyed baking cookies for her family, reading and writing poetry, working on jigsaw puzzles, spending time with family and bird watching. DeNelda was a very active member of Meals On Wheels, Children's Conservation League and St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Flatrock Township. She was also an avid card player and a loving devoted mother.

DeNelda was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Martha (Kryling) Germann; brother, Eldon Germann; grandchildren, Sarah and Taylor; and brother-in-law, Norman Behnfeldt.

Visitation will be held at the Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon, Ohio, today, February 22, 2013, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Flatrock Township, with Pastor Robert Azinger officiating.

Memorials can be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Flatrock Township; Lutheran Home, Napoleon, Ohio; or a charity of the donor's choice.
