STERLING, Va. -- Patricia "Pat" Dianne Engle, 70, formerly of Defiance, died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, in Sterling.
She was the daughter of Daniel and Ruth (Martin) Knoll. On Oct. 3, 1964, she married Jerry Engle, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Timothy (Jessica) Engle of Aliza Veijo, Calif.; two brothers, Neil (Joyce) Knoll of Defiance and Gary (Sandy Storch) Knoll of Elizabeth, Colo.; nieces, Tonya (Jeff) Justus and Wendy (Scott) Sullivan, both of Defiance; and nephews, Steven (Christeen Magel) Knoll of Colorado, and Travis Knoll of California.
She graduated from Defiance High School in 1960, and worked all of her life and enjoyed that very much, along with her cats and many friends.
