NAPOLEON -- Robert Eugene Huston, 90, of Napoleon, Ohio, died Friday, February 8, 2013, at Toledo Hospital.

He was born December 6, 1922, in Napoleon to the late Orla & Bertha (Vollmer) Huston. On June 1, 1948, he married Marilyn (Rettig) Huston. Bob was the owner and operator of Huston's Launderers & Cleaners in Napoleon for 40 years. He faithfully attended St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon. He served in the U.S. Navy in the South Atlantic aboard the USS Trumpeter-Destroyer Escort 180 during World War II, attaining the rank of Fire Controlman First Class. He was a member of Bert G. Taylor American Legion Post 300 of Napoleon, where he served on its honor guard funeral detail.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marilyn; son, James R. (Kay) Huston of Napoleon; granddaughter, Susan (Dr. Ryan) Ristow of Columbus; brother-in-law, Dr. Robert Bay of Delta; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Bay.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon. Interment and military honors accorded by the Napoleon Joint Veterans Posts will be held privately. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon, and on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
