NAPOLEON -- Kenneth A. Hall, 92, of Napoleon, Ohio, died Friday, February 1, 2013, at Lutheran Home of Napoleon.
He was born January 7, 1921, in Harrison Township, Ohio, to the late Arkie and Nellie (Blythe) Hall. On September 28, 1946, he married Clara (Maassel) Hall at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hamler, who preceded him in death on April 1, 2004.
Ken was a lifelong farmer, and a meticulous one at that. He also worked at Campbell Soup Co., Napoleon, for several years. He was an avid gardener, and loved to travel and spend his winter months in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas, with his wife, Clara. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hamler, and Henry County Farm Bureau.
He is survived by his children, Robert (LeAnn) Hall, Thomas (Kathy) Hall, Terry (Nedra) Hall, Sharon (Alan) Stott and Carol (Jeff) Taylor, all of Napoleon; grandchildren, Joann (Mark) Ritter, Emily (Derek) Lantz, Grace Garza and Madalyn Garza; stepgrandchildren, Happy Brooks, Macy (William) Cousineau, Bradley (Sunshine) Stott, Tracy (Jerry) Pyles, Holly (Trey) Proctor, Jeffery Taylor and Wesley Taylor; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Steven Garza; a brother, Lyman Hall; and sister, Norma Wensink.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hamler. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-8 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon, and Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
