NAPOLEON -- Linda S. Limpach, 71, of Napoleon, Ohio, died Saturday morning, January 26, 2013, at her residence.
She was born August 14, 1941, in Napoleon, Ohio, to the late Richard and Dorothy Jane (Jackson) Brubaker. In 1948, her father died and her mother remarried Walter "James" Slee in 1951. On May 8, 1965, she married Paul Limpach at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Napoleon.
Linda was a homemaker and loved all children. She was a child care provider for numerous families where both parents worked. To this day, many of the grown-up children cherish her as an adopted aunt. She loved to travel with her family, visiting many states. She was an avid photographer, always with a camera in her hand, loving to catch "unsuspected action shots" and scenery. It was often heard, "Lookout, Linda has her camera!" Yes, Kodak, she was probably your best customer. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Napoleon.
She is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Jane (Kim) Solt of Groveport, Ohio, and Jean Limpach, Amy (Roger) Pugh and Don Limpach (Kristi Stilwill, fiance) of Napoleon; three grandchildren, Erica, Jodi and Roni; and brothers, Larry "Moe" Brubaker of Napoleon, Richard "Dick" (Cathy) Brubaker of Napoleon, Kenneth Brubaker of Napoleon, and James "Shark" Slee, Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Steve and William; and sister-in-laws, Joanne Brubaker and Judy Brubaker.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Christ United Methodist Church, Napoleon, with Pastor Russell Shaeffer officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. today at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
The family request memorials be made to Christ United Methodist Church or Henry County Transportation. Online condolences may be made at www.rodenbergerfuneralhome.com.
