HOLGATE -- Geraldine (Becker) Muntz, 95, of Holgate, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013.
She was the beloved wife for 37 years of the late Ronald Muntz. She was the loving mother of Robert (Myra) Muntz, Patricia (Delbert) Butler and daughter-in-law, Bonnie (Muntz) Pope; grandmother of nine; great-grandmother of 25; and great-great-grandmother of 28 grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Carol Weirauch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ruth Becker; brothers, Bernard and Richard; and sister, Virginia (Orthwein) Delventhal.
Geraldine was an active member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and a lifelong member of the WELCA. She was a farmer's wife and a member of the Stanley Card Club. Geraldine loved to travel.
Friends may call on Tuesday, January 29, from 3-8 p.m. at Snyder Funeral Home, 209 N. Wilhelm St., in Holgate. Funeral services for Geraldine will be held on Wednesday, January 30, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Holgate, with Rev. Dana Bjorlin officiating.
