Lillian H. Mast, 88, of Defiance, passed away on January 12, 2013, at the Laurels of Defiance.

She was born on March 25, 1924, to Paul and Amelia (Gerken) Nagel in Defiance County. She attended college at Robinwood Hospital for two years. Lillian worked as a nurse for Defiance Hospital and Defiance College. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

Lillian is survived by her son, Richard (Deborah) Weisgerber of Defiance, son, Paul (Liz) Weisgerber of Defiance, daughter, Linda (S.G.) Brugler of Defiance, and daughter, Marsha (Bill) Meyer, Defiance; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lois Gerken, Napoleon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Leonard Weisgerber, 1948-1968; second husband, Gerald Walters, 1973-1993; third husband, Willard Mast, 1997-1999; a daughter, Carol Hinsch; a sister, Alvera Bostelman.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2013, from 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday, for one hour prior to the services at Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Inc., Defiance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, with Rev. Michael Donnally officiating. Burial will take place in the Riverview Memory Gardens.
