BRYAN -- Ann Joreen Morris, 84, died on January 10, 2013, at the Bryan Community Hospital, in Bryan, Ohio.
She was born on September 27, 1928, to James and Bertha (Garland) Fry, in Auburn, Indiana. She married Warren Morris, and he preceded her in death. Ann worked for Defiance City Schools as a custodian and a crossing guard for many years. She was an active member of the Bryan Senior Center and the Eagles. She will be missed by many.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Marlene Mercer of Fort Wayne, Ind.; son, Keith Morris of Swanton, Ohio; and siblings, Janet, Margaret, Dorothy and Robert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Warren Morris; brothers, Wendal, Harvy, Walter and James; sisters, Beredena, Lois, Lucielle, Bertha and Maxine; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held today, January 14, 2013, at the Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, from 4-7 p.m., where family and friends are encouraged to share memories, stories, and remember the impact that Ann had on their lives. A private burial will take place at Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance
