Herb Rennecker

Herbert K. Rennecker, 75, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013, at his home.

He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on May 25, 1937, the son of the late Edgar and Alberta (Shears) Rennecker. Herb was the husband of Louise (Gaff) Rennecker, who survives. They were married September 26, 1959.

He worked as a computer technician at UNISYS Corp. and retired in 2000. Herb loved the Detroit Tigers, the Purdue Boilermakers, golf and sunshine. Herb had served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Defiance Elks Lodge 147 and AMVETS Post 1991.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Louise; daughter, Marcie (Don) Emahiser of Goshen, Ind.; son, Matt Rennecker of Defiance; brothers, Ralph Rennecker of Fort Wayne, Donald Rennecker of Pahrump, Nevada, and Robert Rennecker of Indiana.

He is also survived by two grandchildren, Lexi Emahiser and Ethan Emahiser of Goshen, Ind.

There will be no visitation or public services according to Herb's wishes.

In lieu of flowers, suggested memorials are to the CHP Defiance Area In-Patient Hospice Center, 00625 U.S. 66, Defiance, Ohio 43512. The Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home was entrusted with his arrangements.
