SPENCERVILLE, Ind. -- Eleanor Miller, 88, of Spencerville, Ind., went to be with Jesus on Jan. 7, 2013, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born to the late Albert and Audrey (Dey) Warner on Oct. 1, 1924, in Hicksville, Ohio, and graduated from Farmer High School in 1942. She married Willis Miller of Leo, Ind., on Jan. 21, 1944, and he died in April 2003. She worked at General Electric Co. and retired after 30 years at Golden Years Nursing Home in Fort Wayne.
Surviving are a son, Gary (Mindi) Miller of Spencerville, Ind.; a daughter, Gloria (Ken) Smith of Grabill, Ind.; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Evelyn Caryer of Sherwood and Marian Stotz, Bryan.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Danny Miller; and brother, Ronald Warner.
Viewing will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Leo Mennonite Church in Leo, Ind., where she was a member. Services will be at the church on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and burial will be in Leo Cemetery.
