BRYAN -- Diana L. Gaines, 69, of Bryan, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 1, 2013, at the Community Hospitals and Wellness Center in Bryan.
She was born on October 11, 1943, in Hicksville, Ohio, to Ralph J. and Claudia L. (Rhodes) Onstott. Diana at one time worked at Bryan Custom Plastics as a machine operator and prior to this worked at Edgerton Metals. Diana attended the First Assembly of God in Bryan.
She is survived by three stepsons, Mark Gaines of Bryan, Ed Gaines of Bryan, Robert (Nora) Gaines of Bryan; two stepdaughters, Sheila Gaines of Tekonsha, Mich., and Tina Stanley of Jackson, Mich.; 11 stepgrandchildren, five great-stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Peggy (William) Dickerhoof of Edgerton and Terrilyn (Anthony) Singer of Ney, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles E. Gaines on February 5, 2002; a son, Rory Lee Gaines; and a sister, Brenda Taube.
Visitation hours for Diana will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier. Services will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the First Assembly of God in Bryan with Pastor Kevin W. Boulis to officiate. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.
