HICKSVILLE -- Theodore "Ted" Thomas Schlosser, 80, left to be with our Lord on Monday, December 31, 2012.

Ted was born April 28, 1932, to the late Dewey and Beaulah Schlosser in Defiance County, Ohio. He was united in marriage to Pearl Fitzsimmons, on January 11, 1975, in Hicksville, Ohio. Ted was a hard worker and retired from Dotco-Cooper Tools after 27 years of employment. He was a one-of-a-kind person who was very considerate of others and loved by many. Ted enjoyed the outdoors. He enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels, riding his bike around town and stopping for a visit with friends. He enjoyed mowing and tinkering in his garage. He was a man known for his smile and his enjoyment of the simple things in life.

He will be remembered and missed by his wife, Pearl; and his seven sisters, Vivian (Ray) Tack, Marjorie (Charles) Miller, Joanne (Ron) Luderman, Elaine Carpenter, Sandy (Larry) Joost, Penny (Calvin) Whitfield and June (Ron) Crosser; his brother, Skip (Rose) Schlosser; nieces and nephews.

Those that have preceded him in death were his stepmother, Glendora Salisbury; two sisters; two brothers; and a brother-in-law, Richard Carpenter.

Visitation for Theodore will be Thursday at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville, from 2-8 p.m. The funeral will be on Friday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Peter Simpson officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood.
