NAPOLEON -- Carl David Ray Rohrs, 22, of Napoleon, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012, from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle accident on Saturday, November 24.
He was born on November 14, 1990, in Wauseon, Ohio, to David R. Rohrs and Cathy (Cobb) Rohrs. Carl was a member of St. John Lutheran Church-Freedom Twp., and served on the church cemetery board. He was a farmer working for the family farm as well as the Larry Gerken Farms. He was a 2009 graduate of Liberty Center High School and attended Four County Joint Vocational School. He was a member of the Freedom Twp. Men's Club, enjoyed trapping, tractor pulls, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, David R. Rohrs of Napoleon and Cathy DeMichiei of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sisters, Jenna (Chad) Collins of Napoleon, and Katelyn Rohrs of Charleston, S.C.; paternal grandmother, Irma F. Rohrs of Napoleon; maternal grandparents, Richard and Constance Cobb of Good Hart, Mich.; and nieces and nephew, Bryson, Mary Katelyn and Aleigh Collins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Raymond F. Rohrs.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2012, at St. John Lutheran Church-Freedom Twp., with Pastor Stephen Niermann officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 1, from 2-8 p.m. at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon and on Sunday from 1-2 p.m. at the church prior to services.
