Graham O. Holland, age 46, of Defiance died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at his residence.

He was born on April 19, 1965, in Chicago, Ill., to Daniel O. and Jean K (Wagner) Holland. He was a truck driver, recently graduating from driving school and was employed by Boyd Brothers of Cincinnati, Ohio. Graham served in the United States Marine Corp. He had a passion for the sport of hockey and formerly was a hockey coach in Bryan, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Holland.

He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Jean. He is also survived by a brother, Justin of Defiance.

There will be a private viewing for friends and family from 1-3 p.m. today at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home.

The Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

  • 'Miss ya buddie,you went too darn FAST and buried too FAST as well. I did NOT EVEN get word of your passing until the following Monday morning after Thanksgiving Thursday and I'm darn upset about it, by then it was too late to even pay you a last visit which I had every intent to do. We grew up together in the same neighborhood and got into as much mischief as we possibly could get into together and now it's too late to Reminisce together. Guess that's my own fault but I at the least had to acknowledge you dear buddie. We always got along without any fights and I treasure our memories we had together growing up. Hope the mom & pop is doing well and would like to let them both know that your son was my brother and you both made me as if I was your very own as well. I appreciated you both especially you Jean, just like a mother to me !!!! Always remembering ALL the "PING PONG" games and the community "POTATO NERDS" bucket of chips you always had available for ALL !!!! Sure would have been nice to have been able to catch up with all that has occured between us Graham before your passing on. Anyways, I love you buddie (GROYD) & hope you rest well !!!!!!   • What a sad loss...Graham was such a nice person loved his son Aaron so much and was so lost after his death.. May God Bless His Soul!!! You will be great missed... may you now RIP...
