PAULDING -- Larry S. Miller, 71, Paulding, died Friday, November 16, 2012, at the Van Wert In-Patient Hospice Center, Van Wert, Ohio.

He was born November 26, 1940, in Delphos, Ohio, the son of Merle Sr. and Martha (Weaver) Miller. On April 30, 1966, he married Charline A. Bruns, who survives. He retired from Johns Manville, Defiance, in 2004. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles 2405 in Paulding and Trap Shooter Association. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and trapping.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline Miller; a daughter, Melissa (Dewey) Lusk; a son, Jody Miller, all of Paulding; sisters, Marie (Harold) Thomas of Van Wert, Sammy Davis of Evansport, Shelva Browning of Wisconsin, Peggy (Mike) McClain of Bryan, Marcia (Don) Cisco of Kentucky, and Vera (Andy) Yorklin of Missouri; a brother, Bobby Davis of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Michael Barnes, Tara Lane, Katrina Lusk and Tasha Cardoza and four adopted grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Merle Miller Jr.; and a sister, Judy Davis.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday until time of services at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding.
