Shultz Huber & Associates, Inc. is a full service accounting and business advisory firm, serving closely held businesses of all sizes in Western Ohio, Eastern Indiana, and Southern Michigan. Tyson works primarily in the Bryan and Defiance offices but is available to service clients in all five offices.
Tyson is a 2000 graduate of Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana with bachelor degrees in Accounting, Business Information Systems, and Mathematics. In 2004, he earned his Masters in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. Tyson is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Ohio and Indiana. He is also a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), a designation from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Tyson uses this certification as the head of the firm’s Valuation Department to assist business owners in determining a value for their company for succession planning, gifting, estate values, divorces, sales and mergers, and other purposes.
Tyson is a member of The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Tyson is the treasurer of Sunshine Foundation (a part of Sunshine Children’s Home) in Maumee Ohio, an Executive Board Member with Northwest Ohio Mennonite Economic Development Association (MEDA), a member of the Defiance Rotary Club, and the Treasurer at his church. Tyson also teaches accounting and finance courses at several colleges and universities.
Tyson resides just outside of Archbold with his wife Angie and their sons Ethan and Logan.
