Eastbound lanes of I-70 west of Indy reopen

PLAINFIELD, Ind. (AP) -- Indiana State Police say eastbound lanes are now open on Interstate 70 west of Indianapolis.

Sgt. Rich Myers says the eastbound lanes reopened about 7:30 p.m., more than five hours after a pileup involving more than 30 vehicles. Traffic no longer is being diverted at the Indiana 39 interchange at the 59 mile marker.

Westbound lanes remain closed.
