MILAN, Ind. (AP) -- An Ohio woman has waived extradition to southeastern Indiana, where she and two teenagers are accused of killing a 68-year-old woman during a burglary attempt.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reported Wednesday (http://cin.ci/13hj0M6 ) that 22-year-old Allison Moore had agreed to face charges of murder, burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary in Ripley County, Ind.
Moore and two 16-year-old boys have been held in Hamilton County, Ohio, since their arrests Saturday. All are from Colerain Township, near Cincinnati.
Ripley County Prosecutor Rick Hertel has said he wants the juveniles tried as adults. It wasn't clear if the suspects had attorneys.
Indiana State Police say the three broke into 68-year-old Nancy Hershman's Milan (MY'-lun) home Dec. 30. Investigators believe Hershman was fatally shot when she confronted the intruders.
