CINCINNATI (AP) -- The Cincinnati zoo says warmer weather means it's starting special animal events and opening its rides and theater earlier than usual this year.
The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden says the early spring has brought out more animals, and the zoo plans to begin some animal encounters and feedings on Saturday. Such events general begin April 1.
The zoo says its carousel, train and 4-D theater also will be open Saturday after receiving routine maintenance over wintry months.
