LAMBERTVILLE, Mich. (AP) -- Authorities are looking for a 15-year-old Michigan girl who has been missing from her home near the border with Ohio since last month.

The sheriff's department in Monroe County, Mich., said Friday it was actively investigating the disappearance Feb. 20 of Summer Wyatt from her home in the Lambertville area. The department says police agencies in Michigan and Ohio, as well as the FBI, are involved in efforts to find her.

Authorities say they believe she willingly left her home about 50 miles southwest of Detroit. Family members say she may be in northwest Ohio or southeastern Michigan.

Tips were being sought from the public in helping to find her.
