NEW YORK (AP) -- Comments on the Baltimore Ravens by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
BALTIMORE RAVENS (8)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 7) -- THAT'S what I'm talking about!
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 8) -- Their priority now is to get as healthy as they can for playoffs.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 8)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 12) -- Much needed win over the Giants now can they keep it going in the playoffs? I'd be surprised!
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 10) -- All those offensive problems of the previous five weeks disappeared against the reeling Giants, as Joe Flacco, Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce dominate and deliver another AFC North title.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 8) -- The Ravens have captured the NFC North with an uncharacteristically soft defense. Baltimore has allowed 321 points -- their first 300-point season since 2007.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 9) -- The Ravens are tough to figure out. They lose three straight; then they hammer the Giants. All I know is they're going to the playoffs where they win at least once under John Harbaugh.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 8) -- Two weeks before Ray Lewis returns, they regained their swagger.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 7) -- With all their injuries and doubters the Ravens came out and made a statement in the beating they put on the Giants.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 9)
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 9) -- While there is still the possibility of landing the conference's No. 3 seed, the Ravens now have the luxury of giving their starters a rest Sunday at Cincinnati with the AFC North title and first-round home game secured.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 10) -- Joe Flacco and the Ravens might have turned it around at just the right time. They need to keep the train rolling against the Bengals Sunday.
