AMSTERDAM (AP) -- Dries Mertens converted a first-half penalty as PSV Eindhoven returned to the Dutch league summit by beating De Graafschap 4-1.

Mertens netted his 15th goal of the season in the 8th minute thanks to a penalty awarded after he was fouled by Vito Wormgoor in the area.

Tim Matavz then scored the third with a solo effort three minutes later before Lens added another in the 43rd. Gil Vermouth replied with a goal in the 52nd for De Graafschap.
