Greece: 4th minister resigns over austerity

ATHENS, Greece (AP) -- A fourth Greek Cabinet member has resigned to protest European Union demands for more austerity in exchange for a vital bailout.

Deputy Foreign Minister Mariliza Xenogiannakopoulou belongs to the majority Socialist party.

Earlier Friday, the right-wing LAOS party's transport minister and deputy ministers for merchant marine and agriculture also resigned. LAOS is a junior member in Prime Minister Lucas Papademos' government.
